Old enough to remember seeing Nixon step into helicopter on WH lawn and wave goodbye. Young enough to not be dead yet.
Oh, Bari the Un-wise

Is this more of a leading indicator? Or a technical assessment of economic factors?

I don’t doubt that conditions are bad for some but that result seems to stretch the bounds of reality.

I guess like Bezos at WaPo sales & revenue don’t matter at your media company?

It’s the power and leverage that comes with it?

Come on, have some pun with it.

“60 Minutes, dead and bari’d at 57.”

The irony is now a lot more people are going to want to see the original version.

Maybe we retire the “Streisand Effect” for the “Bari’d Effect”?

Real journalism getting bari’d for MAGA narratives.

Goldberg, his mom convinced Tripp to record her conversations with Lewinsky.
Reminder that during the Clinton scandal the main antagonists were Gingrich, who cheated on his ailing wife, and Ken Starr who, as President of Baylor U, ignored a horrific sexual assault scandal there.
Such good people.

ProPublica and some savvy investors should launch a new news broadcast service. Lots of talented people are ready to jump.

Why is WaPo, or anyone, doing polls with GOP and MAGA GOP?

It’s the same political party. The one that gave us Watergate, Iran-Contra and Jan 6th coup attempt.

Pretty obvious what they’re doing, distancing themselves.

“They” being conservative billionaires like the one that owns WaPo.

So, this recent trend of MAGA GOP and “regular” GOP, WTF?

They’re all GOP. The psychology of this is obvious. There are conservatives who realize their party has gone too far and they want to absolve themselves of responsibility.
