Jouranism is alive and well. Look for hyper local newspapers. They would love to have your support. But you must be willing to pay to read. Because if you dont want your news in a rich man's pocket you must help provide the financing.

Look for hyper local journalism it is still fact based and not paid for by politicians.

One of my favorite books. read it while at sea over a decade ago and have never been able to forget it.

The tattooist was quite the powerful book.

Reading "the book of pride" highy recomend. It gives brief bios and snippits of interviews with a bunch of the leaders in the pride movement. It is great learning about those who came before us. The folks in the book are mostly 60+. Check it out. And give me recomendations for other queer books.
