Took a road trip today! Saw Iron Lung, which was pretty decent considering it's a YouTuber movie, and went to the Rainforest Cafe! They had a photographer randomly I guess?? And Roux and I don't have a lot of nice photos of us so we splurged on one they sold us. Very nice day outing 🥰

Making a teddy bear for my cousin's baby shower and it is currently looking like a sentient potato. Also this yarn isn't as bad as I thought it would be but I am still counting like my life depends on it cuz I cannot see these stitches

My mom did probably 75-80% of this back in like 1995 when I was a baby, but put it in a drawer and it never got finished, cuz motherhood. 30 years later, I dug it up and finished it and gave it back to her.

I love to embroider but it can be so much more intimidating than cross stitch....I already know what the cross stitch pattern is gonna look like by the time it's done, even if it's got an ugly stage. But with embroidery, I could put hours into a piece and then not like it and not know until I'm done

Okay so crisis mostly averted; guy who jumpstarted my car last night assured me it would need a battery replacement right away, but it started fine this morning. Still gonna look into that replacement but I'm in marginally less despair over it

Would really love to stop having car trouble??? I literally just spent way too much to fix a ball bearing and now my car just completely won't start. Getting someone to come jump start it but I'm just sitting here willing back tears in my employer's parking lot
