Now, here's the thing I think both of these groups need to understand...an adaptation shouldn't be a one-to-one retelling of an original story. An adaptation should keep the overall story structure relatively the same, but the actual plot and story should be left up to the interpretation of the

It's just turned into a back and forth of Odyssey fans being butthurt that Epic wasn't a one-to-one retelling of the Odyssey, and Epic fans being butthurt that Odysseus's name was getting 'slandered'. (For the record, I'm not generalizing here. It's not ALL Odyssey fans, and it's not ALL Epic fans).
