Yes. We have two jobs 1) slow down the authoritarian power consolidation and 2) work to ensure free elections in 26/28. Nothing else matters.
Then we need to split - small d democrats can’t co-habit a nation with authoritarians. And a most healthy democracy is needed to navigate AI algorithm.

Trump won’t support them - he will bleed them if materials and never truly deliver. Thus making Ukraine weaker for Russia to annex.

Exactly. Most middle class, college educated people with young families are just hoping this blows over. They believe in democracy but they are busy with their kids and don’t want to risk anything.

100% this. We need to cut the authoritarians (aka GOP) loose ASAP. We have the most complicated and dangerous threat ever known to us on our doorstep. Even a fully functional, smart, robust democracy has a huge challenge in properly harnessing it. Impossible if we are fighting for democracy itself.

I’m not disabled so I will never truly know what you are going through. Maybe it doesn’t help right now but please know there are people like me who are fighting this regime because we want a country where you are loved, valued, and your voice is heard while we all work together as true equals.

Sorry - wish it wasn’t like this. But if blue states don’t take a stand and regroup then all states will be lost into the abyss of kleptocracy. Sometimes you need to retreat, hunker down and galvanize in order to form a viable resistance. Especially when they have been planning this for 4 years.

100% - Republicans are not going to turn back to democracy - they are an authoritarian regime, pure and simple. Literally only two Republicans in Congress are small d democrats - Newhouse and Valadao. We need to get the WH back and immediately cut the red states loose so we can move forward.
