I feel so much for the family of the black boy who survived being wrongfully imprisoned in Dubai, only to lose him in a tragic accident recently. The mortality reminder is humbling. Life comes hard and fast for some of us.

In the future, they will learn about those who enabled the genocide in Gaza.

They will also learn about the global movement for peace, and above all, the resilience of the Palestinian people.

Being forced to be static because I’ve been sick has been entirely frustrating at times. Stillness is for moments at the beach…I need to skip the timeline and feel at my best. Being disabled is already is already the OG struggle. I don’t need to be down with the flu too!

I caught a bug at my six year old cousin’s birthday party days ago and decided to mostly check out of social media to focus on my art and recovery. And besides the podcasts keeping me updated on news, it’s much less noisier without bizarro conspiracy theories about the rapture.
