It draws inspiration from works like the Tale of Genji and Tale of the Heike. Fusing the traditional Gunki Monogatari with modern adult low fantasy.

It deals with themes of destiny, intergenerational trauma, forgiveness, and legacy. There is romance, there is battle. Two warring sides need to come together to fight the real enemy after 400 years of hatred and war. But it’s hard to forgive. Especially when hurts get personal and betrayal
