When you deadname or misgender someone just because you dislike them you are still perpetuating transphobia. Bigotry remains bigotry no matter who the target is.

that andrew wakefield isn’t sitting in a british prison and is still, to this day, inflicting harm on children represents a complete failure of our medical, science, and political classes.

btw we must make sure that hilary cass doesn’t escape justice. she has perpetrated a similar medical fraud.

Wakefield is no longer allowed to practice medicine in the U.K. and has since relocated to Texas, where he has repositioned himself as a medical martyr and "father of the anti-vaccine movement."

He was seen alongside Kennedy at anti-vax rallies, and an epidemiologist who recently left the CDC told The Times last month that he remains the secretary's "North Star."

Like, it is contextual. In the context of a sporting event the flag (generally) represents the team.

Outside of that context, it's just pure nationalism, and that is not a thing you can ever reclaim.
