I've just played my first game of solo Scrabble. I scored 477 which isn't great but for the first time playing in years I'm not unhappy with it. I managed to get all the tiles out. No 7 letter words though.

I mean, if you're going to teach in a school that has a transition year, you're going to need to expect there to be a gender stuff going on...
That being said, I'm glad he's off the streets (again) and hope his equally terrible family join him.

I think I was the only person who submitted a story. They were so taken with the story that they asked if they could illustrate it so we could put it out as a book. Obviously I said yes. And this is the result.

In many ways this is my 'big one'. It's the only book I've written that actually got accepted for publication by a publisher - a small Canadian press called Double Dragon books. Unfortunately, they went out of business during the pandemic so I'm back to self-publishing again.

I've had a bird feeder on my window for a few months now but only seen a few birds using it. This is the first time one has stayed and eaten long enough for me to take a photo. It makes me really happy.
