Along the highway to our next destination, we came upon a road block. I took my camera and walked to the obstruction. I found a local motorcycle race. These kids were under a tree watching all the excitement. They were amused that I wanted to take their picture; except one who ran off laughing.

We encountered this indigenous man high on coca leaves. We gave him more to let us photograph him. His lady friend came out to scold him until he showed her the bag of coca leaves. Sharing coca is a major cultural act in Bolivia. Like tea in Britain or coffee in the US.
