I don't care at this point. Looks like a bust and we have better players at the position

(Not saying you *are* jumping on it btw 🙂)

I think he will get those minutes, as well as the start in the week and next weekend. I was skeptical of the buy and remain so but wouldn't want to jump on the performance today particularly

I feel Gyökeres is one of those Aaron Ramsey type players who will need to bring himself into form by playing. You can question whether away at Villa is the time to do it but suspect it has to happen some time

Do you mean top 8 or top 4? Because of top 8, I think 18 will be plenty. If top 4, my position would be the advantage of it isn't worth the potential sacrifice in the league

Tbf to him on the fouls thing, I don't know what he's done to the refs but he can't buy a foul right now. There was a clear one where he got thrown to ground in the closing stages that wasn't called, made all the more annoying but the laughable soft call when Martinelli got through 5 mins before

Still think we probably get that with 1 win and a draw. And while that would be useful, it's imo not as valuable as getting our league form immediately back on track. But respect your have a different opinion

I get why you say this but imo it would compound the damage of the result today not to make 7/8 changes in midweek and would waste the advantage our excellent CL form has given us. We need 1 win out of the final 3 games to get top 8

I'm aware and that's why I've been following from day one. Really love it, thanks for writing it

I loved it, for what it's worth. Sometimes the feeling are big and you just stick them out there, even though you know that they're fundamentally absurd. It's why we love football. It's a part of life

Slightly disorientating that the record holders for this are that iteration of Manchester United

Maybe we should start a round of "Sing when you're losing, you only sing when you're losing..."

Rice has run them off the pitch

Finally got my Arsenal back

Sunderland are running pretty hot, only Villa have a bigger positive difference between expected v actual points this season (source understat.com/league/EPL). Not saying they'll go down or anything but reversion to the mean is likely
