Focus on building your workbenches and upgrading Scrappy the chicken. You can track the resources you need for each so that they have a little eye icon on them when you’re looting. In the early going, take out free loadouts often so you don’t lose precious resources if you die. & try to deescalate!

I never had a problem but after upgrading my MacBook to the new OS I couldn’t cast or screen mirror at all. Some cursory searches made it seem like a known issue for people that they need to fix in another update.
