Basically, this story is a story that I've been working on for years. In grade school, we'd be given writing journals for school. They were meant to be tools to help just learn the fundamentals of writing; I skipped all of that and wrote about boys hunting monsters.

"The series is new and inventive in its style, its setting, mainly for the tone in which it's all presented. It's high fantasy, but the story is for the reader who got high. The heroes are heroic, but not in the stoic sense; solely for personal gain, as we see at first."

Agatha All Along is the first show I've enjoyed in a very long time that dives deep into the supernatural, the fantasy, and the scary side of fiction, let alone have it set in the superhero Marvel world. I don't mean this lightly.

A story was then written; a story of a diverse cast of free spirits, damaged hearts, and lost souls in the sea that is Night Wave City’s PLUR scene. Ravers & EDM lovers join together after discovering an exotic party drug that allows the user to manipulate sound waves.

This story hit different. I wrote this during the formative years of me finding my favorite music. I gained a deep love for EDM after the genre blew up in the mainstream radio & Top 100 Charts. I took up music, learning to engineer & produce my own beats, basslines, & melodies.

Dead Boys works for the story, the type of world that's built, without becoming the insanely mind-bending story of celestials that The Sandman is, but pulls inspiration from more unhinged, bizarre story beats that feel more like Gerard Way's "Umbrella Academy".

Netflix's "Dead Boy Detectives" is EXCEPTIONALLY good. It's worth a watch, especially considering this is the type of show to absolutely drop on Netflix, and be cancelled despite having a good story and a fanbase hungry for more.
