Anthony Geary was 1/2 the pinnacle of daytime drama in the U.S. in the late 70s & early 80s, which can never been repeated. He returned in the 90s & willingly took part in course-correcting the darker parts of that earlier legacy, at the risk of alienating fans. And brilliantly.
General Hospital legend Anthony Geary died on Sunday at the age of 78.
Geary, who lived in the Netherlands died from complications of a scheduled operation three days earlier.

Don’t know who needs to hear this, but exorcising toxic energy and behavior doesn’t happen overnight. It’s like cleaning up a brownfields site. It takes years, can be costly, and you never fully achieve a toxin-free soul, only acceptably safe grounds for better redevelopment.
