From the technical standpoint this looks sound: The hashing is good, the pair hashing is great
From the business standpoint: double opt-in (while understandable) will make this feature not very useful, so extra nudging (at sign-up and reminders) will be required
Also where is the registry hosted?

Images on Bluesky are limited to 1MB for some reason so if you upload a large image we shrink it until it fits 1MB and this makes them blurry sometimes
If you can upload images < 1MB then we would not have to optimize it and it will post the way you see it at upload time.

Yes, alt-text was in our first integration for Bluesky- almost 3 years ago
And there is no per period limits on scheduling but you can have a max 10 scheduled at any given time in the free plan, higher limits in paid versions

This works well when you have many posts, but if you only have two posts it appears illogical to have them split like that (but it makes sense lacking other data)
If your posts are always sporadic (i.e. 1 or 2), I recommend creating an "exact time" schedule not an "automatic" one

If you have a paid subscription it would be based on your follower behaviour, if not, then it would be most optimal within your defined window

Sometimes your service does X+Y+Z, and new entrants have basic tools that only do X, but users who only care about X start comparing you to others

When I started building, I wanted to make an affordable solution for everyone..... but most didn't come and those who came didn't care if they paid $1 or $15, and only small difference in conversion and churn (even with 1500% price difference)

It's an interesting take though - maybe not with the current state of AI as it's lacking accuracy, but if there is significant improvement it would be no different than say using calculators vs doing math by hand

Actually some platforms make us buy the data, so yes, your data is free to you but not free to us
And although Bluesky's data is open and free, yes there is significant costs for us to pull your data, and the more followers you have the more servers we have to run to pull that data and process it
