I walked past Greta Thunberg at my workplace the other and didn't see her (my colleagues mentioned it a bit too late).

Oh I didn't realize it was the designer of Power Vacuum. I'll have to give it a closer look!
February 10, 2026 at 10:21 PM
Oh man, it looks so good! Congrats!

Then I've been introducing Panda Panda to some of my colleagues. Really enjoying the meta that can develop around that game.

Finally got my hands on a physical copy of Scream Park. Played it with my wife and 7 year old yesterday and we really enjoyed it. Definitely see the DVC appeal. Also finally played Cockroach Poker which was a lot of fun. Can't wait to try it with a bigger group.

It's a great movie, but also a great movie that is easy to fall asleep in front of.

I spotted a single copy at my local game store a few weeks ago, despite their website listing none, a snagged it immediately. It's so silly and so fun!

Nice! Is this for a localized version?

I had the mirror map mission once too and was equally imcredulous when I read it. I was playing solo so I only had to mirror 2 servers instead of all of them, but I somehow pulled it off. And when I did I felt so cool. Like a hacker.

Yeah this what I was thinking as well.

And ironically there's another typo here 🙃
January 28, 2026 at 6:35 AM
Ugh apologies for the typos. Really gotten get in the habit of spellchecking before posting.

This was a instaback for me. I have the Japanese version because the components are so nice. But having to parce the Japanese does make an already heavy game hard go get fo the table. Plus I was surprised to see PGC is including their own promo character (which apparently is quite good).

I need to track down a copy of this. I've only played Maskmen.
January 27, 2026 at 9:02 PM
Well I guess there's Otter. For some reason I don't immediately think of it as a shedder, but it certainly is.
January 20, 2026 at 6:19 PM
Yeah I was really intrigued by the fact that it has a solo mode. I wonder if it's the first solo shedding game.
January 20, 2026 at 5:47 PM
Looking forward to seeing what you come out with next!
January 20, 2026 at 5:46 PM
Best of luck with everything! Is your current design work anything you can talk about yet?
January 19, 2026 at 10:17 PM
Can't wait to try Bested Another Time!
January 19, 2026 at 7:16 PM
Then I got in Shred of Redemption. It's got fairly light rules, but it's a tough little puzzle.
January 19, 2026 at 7:15 PM
Discovered that Scream Park is on BGA recently and have been enjoying playing solo. At some point I'll have to try multiplayer. Then I finally set up my PNP of This is Not a Game About a Pipe. We played once so far and man is it clever!

I saw your post a bit late so here are my plays for the first week and change of 2026. Two highlights are Earthborne Rangers and Hot Streak. Both were acquired partially from your recommendation and both have been amazing experiences in entirely different ways.

I also used to have those bookends from the LOTR box sets. Sadly not sure where they are now.

Only one I haven't played a version of is Loop. The artwork alone is intriguing though.
January 9, 2026 at 12:52 AM
I almost go this one too, but as my purchases increased I had to make cuts. Might have to track it down someday. My daughter would certainly love the theme.
