I have one NPC who brought printing press technology from a distant land. I have a group who has contracted to produce daily broadsheets. Just one page, front and back. But it's fun to have headlines.

I refer to it as having a strongly keyed memory. What did I do Saturday? No idea, because I've had a lot of Saturdays. When did I last go to the mall? That was last Saturday, because "going to the mall" is a very distinct sensory experience.

Short version: Con game. GM is late due to running a demo. Had not prepped ANYTHING. We meandered for a while. Then spent 30 minutes being introduced to the party from his home game. Then capped it off with a random puzzle that did not fit the genre at all. Exhaustingly frustrating.

It's also frequently wild to hear the adjectives they choose to use. And the connections they make. I have them recap every session just to see what they think of the NPCs.
