Why does Israel continue the genocide in Gaza? Imho the answer is pretty simple. Because the US allows them to.
Since October 7, 2023, the US has vetoed UN Security Council resolutions calling for a ceasefire in Gaza SIX times!
The most recent veto happened just yesterday.

2 years ago today Azerbaijan started its final offensive & took over #NagornoKarabakh. They did this after the blockade that cut the only link to Armenia which resulted in severe humanitarian crisis. In matter of days 120 thousand Armenians had to flee their homeland. No one was punished for this!

For there to be more drama in the book, Puzo was like let me kill a pregnant teenager for the sake of a side quest to be full of drama. Uninteresting & vile. Next via Kai’s perspective we learn that Michael returned to NYC & didn’t even contact Kai but the moment he met her he fucked her & proposed
