This is a real bummer, considering Humanity had my favorite soundtrack of the year it released!

that's totally fair. one reason i love game design is studying how different people engage with the same experience. i think it's neat that while, for me they are frustrating, they actually seem to help you stay focused.

I personally hate boss run-backs in every single soulslikes and think they are usually a bad choice, but adding them obviously a decision Team Cherry made intentionally in service of their vision. I think there are better ways of creating difficulty, but it’s not my game. 🤷‍♂️
