new Elemental Survivors update is out! I love this one. Journey mode has been added! It's a roguelike mode taking you from randomized level to randomized level every minute

also rebalanced the game to be harder, faster, tweaked some evolutions, and more!

the top unlocked character achievement is kumasan and that brings a happy tear to my eye.
this is showing the global stats for steam achievements and Kumasan the Bear has been unlocked 77.4% of the total audience

here's a look at the big feature coming in the next update. Basically a roguelike mode with all the levels youve unlocked. we've got work still to do on it but i'm so excited and only want to play in this mode from now on lol

it can actually get hard which is really exciting
Its the world map screen from elemental survivors and there's an airship on the map now. The pop-up window says "Journey Mode: Start a random chunk of a level, survive for 2 minutes, travel to a new random chunk! Can you survive?" oops im just realizing the copy says survive twice in consecutive sentences i should change that

its the patch notes for our upcoming update! Added some major background systems (like giving everyone elemental powers and weaknesses), helped boost some magic attacks like fireballs, and added two new minidiscs of music!
- longer input alarm in menus for reroll. - added enemy elemental damage and player elemental defense. - added different melee enemy attacks. - fixed issue with banish menu navigation. - fixed bug when levelling summoner when full MAG or SPI-based attacks. - added max evo level info to secrets menu. - added access to secrets menu from settings menu. - fixed volume slider bug. - tweaked damage for bomb evo. - tweaked sfx for magic cards evo. - tweaked puppy zoomes sfx. - fixed player directional arrow sprite not being updated when changed. - changed fireball attack to target nearest, boosted evo damage. - increased tornado enemy pick up count. - boosted speed, damage, and count for summon pet and shelly attacks. - added quirky edm2 and cyberbpunk2 minidiscs and secrets. - added page navigation in music select menu.

gunna add "respect for player" to our accessibility menu
its a settings menu from an old psygnosis psone game. it shows three bars, Disease Spread, Respect for Player, and Ship Simulator and the bars go from "easy" to "hard"

we're adding elemental affinities to the game! now every character has innate elemental boosts and weaknesses. enemies are also doing elemental damage and have their own affinities!

these power bars remind me of the old marvel cards. i wan queer versions of these with everyones kink ratings on the back lol
it's a captain america card from a 1991 run of marvel cards. the front has captain america art and the back shows his power ratings with bars and then a paragraph of lore underneath.

we're bringing melee attacks from enemies and more enemies effecting elemental status dmg/fx for hte next update.

also some requested QOL like the ability to check the secrets menu from the pause menu, and the levels will be numbered roman numeral style to show the difficulty progression

the current stats for elemental survivors are pretty neat. 9 hours average playtime!
average playtime is 9 hours 3 minutes. median time is 4 hours 18, and time played range is 37 mins to 16 hours 17 mins
