I really love the experience and feel of physical books. It’s irreplaceable. With that said, ebooks are cheaper and more portable. All I need is my cell.

Or create one. Both are equally useful or entertaining, respectively.

Gonna be honest, I don’t even know what the crap you’re saying with those slang words.

So cute! And so clever!

I agree. I would add, if you use it to spread misinformation (or really, to deceive in any way shape or form.)

I’m growing to appreciate BlueSky because I can block people the moment they say something mean, and I don’t have to worry about it anymore!

When you gave that quote, I immediately thought of the response “nope. I only have 30 seconds left to live.” 🤭

As an adult with three small children. Sometimes I accidentally slip into the type of speech I use with them.

I.e. the use of the words owie, potty, etc.

“Can I ask you a question?”

I mean, I’ve done this to approach a sensitive topic. But when others ask me, I can’t help pointing out that they already did.

Aaaaaaw

Thank you!

Primarily fantasy/sci-fi. But fiction for sure.

I’ve also written a few poems I’m rather proud of. But when I did research on magazines that print poems, they were mainly filled with non-rhyming and nonsensical pieces.

Speeeaaaking of which! Got any recommendations on short story magazines I could submit to?

How would we share what we’ve written from your word of the day?
November 25, 2024 at 3:09 PM
The “I before E…” rule doesn’t apply to it. So I always remembered how to spell it because it IS weird.

That is also a very suspicious profile pic. 😆

Oh 100%! Human artists are irreplaceable. I was merely pointing out the cost efficient, time efficient, and ease of using AI for personal use.
November 24, 2024 at 10:23 PM
That’s awesome! I’m happy for you, and that your first experience was a positive one.
November 24, 2024 at 10:19 PM
Yeah I understand. The genre “romance” has become so sexualized that if I find a fantasy romance, I try to stay clear because it’ll usually be more inappropriate than I want.

So I get why you’d not want that attached to a family-friendly book.

I like lengthy responses to my questions about a topic we’re both passionate amount.
November 24, 2024 at 9:30 PM
Hahahaha! So much yes!

I personally love using AI imaging software for my stories or D&D campaigns to give some life/motivation/inspiration to what I’m doing, while still being free.
As with most technological advances, I believe they can be used for productive or destructive means. Just depends on who’s wielding it.

This year?!? That describes my life!
