I am doing a test pack for my next trip. On the last trip my backpack, the blue one, weighed 8k. The little one is for the next trip and weighs 6.6k. When you add what I will be wearing on my person my total kit will be 9.6kilos.OMG In 2018 my whole kit was 15k. #packinglite #minimalist #travel

I had YouTube running in the background. A new show started and they began to talk about a someplace becoming a post apocalyptic wasteland. I just didn’t want to hear any more about the future of the US and was reaching to skip the show when I realized it was PBS Eons.

My father had polio as a child and later lied about it to get into the Navy to fight fascism. He was relieved that measles didn’t leave me with lasting issues. He had seen family suffering from lockjaw and smallpox. He didn’t hesitate to get me vaccinated. Thanks Dad. I am sorry about your county.

Stuck in the Amsterdam airport for six hours. I am just too burned out to take a tour. It doesn’t help that the flight from Thessaloniki was on the worst airline I’ve ever been on.
