To be fair, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul both had similar season lengths

Because the series creator was heavily involved in production and "animatronics killing people" really isnt what that franchise is past the surface level. They certainly should be doing more with the animatronics but lore dump bullshit is the franchise.
