4/365: Electronic music will figure into much of this list by year's end, so I'll start with a forever favorite. Anamanaguchi's 2010 Summer Singles collection was a top-to-bottom crusher—the height of their singular sound, and the point from which they evolved. This one's a cinematic thriller.

2/365: I'll always have a soft spot for the Toadies' shameless parsing of the Pixies, and I found lifetime friends and music faves on their BBS. Who knows how far past Possum Kingdom they would've gone if Interscope hadn't stymied the late-'90s LP Feeler, from which this utterly catchy song came:

Looks like there're a lot of responses already. I like the recompilation I linked elsewhere, esp since it runs well on Steam Deck. NSO is fine enough. And series purists are mixed on the 3DS remake (3DS Ocarina is better received), but I think it's solid.
