tog asked for fish fingers and chips for tea. sam did her best and provided salmon fishcakes and chippy type slices. everyone is realising now however that baked beans may turn tog the same colour as me.

these are her earmuffs btw. she says she much prefers this pattern to the original one is almost grateful to the moths for prompting her to do them.

we have gingerbread, and cinnamon and cardamom buns here. some of each are already wrapped up for the cayk tunnel if you would like to swap.
a foil wrapped something (it is gingerbread) and two clear plastic tubs with baking peeping through kitchen towel inside them, and the words cinnamon and cardamom written on them.

this is what romans call a maritozzo. it is a sweet bun, brioche i think, filled with cream and dusted with icing sugar. fortitude bakery in london calls them beignets, badger @mrfhbear.bsky.social.

these things used to be a priority but it is not unusual to have to wait a few days for her to come back with the goods. BUT! she returned from todays adventures with "enough tiramisu for all of us" which i dispute (that is me and a wee bit for flopsy)...
