Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on the problem and my familiarity with the tooling/components. Copilot is mostly useful for replacing low quality library documentation.

It would be nice if there was even a little bit of critical thinking going on before hitting publish.

This is a React app so I’m wondering if some weird re-render has occurred, but this doesn’t happen when I use the tables outside of Playwright.

Downgrading to the previous minor version of the extension has solved all my problems.

The latest version won’t read my config file properly so was ignoring all our .tsx files…

I think the actual answer is to downgrade the VS Code plugin until it works again and then pin the version for everyone on the team.

So I try and update each plugin and they also have dependency errors.

I suspect we’re going to need to rebuild our ESLint setup from scratch adding things in one by one and hoping that all of the plugins have been updated to work.

It bothers me that this needs some random third party age verification site instead of a service provided by the government that demanded this happen in the first place.

I’d like to see Safari moved out of the iOS release schedule so that when new features ship I don’t have to wait two or three years before I can use them due to the rate at which people (don’t) update their devices.
