I like the idea of being so worn down thinned out, and roughed up over the years that you end up getting recycled. Compressed, melted down, and remolded with fellow mats that have seen better days so that you all get to continue use for another generation... together! No way back, just a good mat <3

Love this. Long term stuff is so much fun to me. Slowly losing form and definition over time, potentially to the point of being unrecognizable as anything other than a welcome mat. And then the aspect of time. =w= I'm too self destructive and might sign up for a few decades of mat time willingly 😅
