Combined with home solar, almost free cost for winter heating (after install costs). I noticed that on many of the recent “This Old House” episodes, a lot of the home owners are going with heat pumps.

He was probably under the CSRS federal retirement plan. FERS became the retirement plan when Reagan was President. I worked with people who also retired under CSRS.

Under FERS, retired fed employees receive SS benefits (we paid into SS as other workers do).

Congressional members retire under the same Federal Retirement account as Fed retirees. Greene will receive roughly $9K per year once she reaches age 62 as a pension (min age for 5 years of service). Congress also pays into the SS system. Yes, she is ensuring that she is vetted, but it is not much.

Billions of dollars are going into new data centers in and the area around San Antonio. The Edwards Aquifer has problems enough to provide water for regular consumption. These centers will also take millions of gallons of water, plus tremendous amounts of electricity, killing the grid.
