Schumer is clearly compromised by Trump and/or the billionaire donor class. Controlled opposition and all that. I'd be willing to give Jeffries the benefit of the doubt that he's just incompetent and not complicit, but that's about as far to bat as I'd go for him, and even then, who can say for sure

Maybe Captain Bonespurs thinks we won Vietnam because he wasn't there to see otherwise?

They'll be opening in a year, a year and a half, and two weeks, all at the same time
February 12, 2026 at 9:50 PM
Hegseth has given this exact speech literally every week for the past, uh...how long has it been now? Centuries? Feels like centuries.
February 9, 2026 at 9:53 PM
OK yes Aaron,, I've seen you post this before like 6 times already, why are you reposting it now I wonder-

"Feb 9, 2026"

oh.

And trust me, the moment they are out of power (assuming this country gets through this crisis with some semblance of democracy intact, which is a big ask at this point) they WILL start back up again, as shamelessly as ever, as if they never supported what is happening right now.

No one should have been taking the Republicans claims of anything "principled" in good faith starting decades ago, and when they inevitably began to pretend to care about small government and fiscal responsibility et all in the future it is imperative we do not take that in good faith either.

And of course, continuing to get what reporting and videos and such we can from Minneapolis to the rest of the nation, to show them that this isn't as done and dusted as the regime might claim

In any case, we're not at the point where a second civil or revolutionary war or other violent action is our only way out. Not yet. I think the idea of economic pressure via coordinated general strikes and such is the best strategy right now. Put violent uprising on the backburner. For now at least.

Hitler wasn't voted out, but he also wasn't ousted by local resistance, whether violent or non-violent. Anyone who didn't fall for his and Goebbels' propaganda had to wait for foreign invasion to get rid of him. I don't see any foreign country invading this one without an outright war (yet).

I'm not religious anymore but I grew up religious and remember what I was taught in religious school. The third commandment was not to take God's name in vain, last I checked. I'd try and check again but I think they melted down the tablet it was chiseled on to help make their golden calf

The backlash might mean that even the "right people" that they let in vote blue. But even if it does, don't expect Trump to let the election results stand without government interference.

was this before or after he literally admitted "I've never read the bible" during this same breakfast? 🤢

He came up to me and said that, with tears in his eyes, he said "Sir no one has ever pulled off an assault like you did, the world has never seen such genius"
February 5, 2026 at 5:01 PM
The current crisis is time sensitive in a way that does not give you the leisure of waiting for focus groups and polls and imaginary Long Island families to tell you what to say and do because you have no convictions of your own.

Democrats want commonsense reform for Congress:

End Republican tyranny and hold more than just the foot soldiers accountable

Create a precedent of presidents going to jail for jail-worthy crimes

Stop listening to corporations above constituents

Remove you and your Quisling caucus

Abolish ICE
February 4, 2026 at 1:05 AM
If you build it, they will come. Actually be passionate, clearly believe the things you are saying, and you will draw the attention of voters. Wait for weeks until enough polls and focus groups come in to pretend to have conviction, and you will put them to sleep, at best.
February 3, 2026 at 9:13 PM
they've been running against Trump for so long they don't even think twice about whether they should run FOR something alongside that. Schumer and his ilk especially don't believe in any of the Dems messages. That's why many voters didn't take warnings of fascism seriously in '24.

Calling out actual anti-Semitism becomes more and more difficult with each false flag these guys raise, and I can't help wondering if that is intentional. One thing is for sure, the party of Carlson, Owens, etc is no friend of the Jews - and once we've outlived our usefulness to them...
February 3, 2026 at 7:52 PM
Then let them be on the record as protecting a pedo trafficking ring. Even if it is a battle we believe we cannot win, we must fight it nonetheless, because it's the right and moral thing to do.
February 1, 2026 at 3:14 AM
Concentration camps in our backyards. Anyone claiming these guys aren't taking their notes straight from the 1930s Nazis* are kidding themselves.
*and yes, I am aware that the Nazis themselves took notes straight from our own Jim Crow laws

"[ending] election integrity is very important to this administration"
January 30, 2026 at 7:50 PM
Hell, even when ICE is eventually tried for their crimes in a Nuremberg equivalent I would not say we should torture and maim them. Execute them if their crimes warrant such, yes, but do so quickly and painlessly. Anything else is not Justice.
January 29, 2026 at 8:45 PM
I don't believe that even the "worst of the worst" that ICE supposedly goes after should be punished cruelly and unusually. There is an internationally recognized legal definition of human rights that I still believe in.
