Bunch of school friends asked if I’d fancy going to Roker Park in Feb ‘89 when I was 13. Clock Stand Paddocks vs Walsall. Was hooked from that moment, just everything about the game, the ground and the crowd. Got beat 3-0 off a team that would finish bottom but I still went back. Says a lot!

Jobe is quality no doubts about it. He’s played a lot of football over the last 2 seasons and got some stick I think unfairly due to the changing roles he had to play under previous SAFC managers. His posture, passing and composure is fantastic for his age and I can see him playing at a top level.
