Well, they are assaulting journalists & members of the general public in the streets that are filming to document the violence. This to 47 is acting against him & makes you his enemy.

He's riffing off Israel's "Iron Dome" air defense system, but has to make it sound "better" with gold. Going deeper on the metaphor though, gold is a much softer metal than iron, so not functionally better. But, then, he's a showman, so everything is about how it looks, not how it actually works.
