I do understand this if you are a political journalist keeping an eye on lunatics
But please do not passively use X for other things like keeping up with science or whatever, instead ACTIVELY tell the people/groups you are relying on for news to stop posting there – negating your reason to be there

I avoid X all together now but I think there's a reasonable distinction between passively using X as a source of information or for work (an unfortunate necessity) and actively posting on it (unforgivable, have a word with yourself)
