Just a couple of questions for you:

We are spending $1 trillion every year on the military. That's more than the next NINE nations combined.

Meanwhile, millions lack health care & we have the highest childhood and senior poverty rate of almost any major country.

Congress needs to get its priorities straight.

We spend twice as much per capita on health care as almost any nation on Earth. We pay the highest prescription drug prices in the world. 85 million Americans are uninsured or underinsured.

Republicans — pathetically — have nothing serious to say about the health care crisis.

Trump says it's an A++++ economy. He's right. His billionaire friends have never had it better.

If you're a working class person:
👉60% live paycheck to paycheck
👉Grocery prices at record highs
👉Premiums to double for 20+ million

The economy must work for all, not just the 1%

Mark Zuckerberg is building a data center in Louisiana that will use 3x more electricity than all of New Orleans.

Oligarchs want YOU to pay for these data centers with higher water & electric bills.

Americans must fight back against billionaires who put profits over people.

Larry Ellison, the world’s 2nd-richest man, predicts an AI surveillance state where “we’re constantly recording & reporting everything.”

Are we headed toward a future where every call, text, email & search is tracked by billionaires?

That's not democracy. It's authoritarianism.

Everyone knows that our current health care system is broken.

That’s why over 60% of the American people support Medicare for All.

The day will come when every man, woman and child in this country will have health care as a human right.

We’re going to win this fight.

Most young people are worried, as they should be, about the impact that AI will have on their lives and their ability to earn a decent living.

Our job is not complicated. We must make certain that AI and robotics improve life for all, and not just make billionaires even richer.

Is AI inherently bad? Of course not.

The question is: WHO controls it & for what purpose?

Does anyone believe that the richest people on Earth are investing hundreds of billions in AI to improve life for ordinary people, eliminate poverty & solve global warming?

I doubt it.

Jon Stewart and I agree:

AI must work for everybody, not just a handful of billionaires.

The President of the United States is willing to see children go hungry to make a political point.

Despicable.

Last night, tragically, 8 Democrats caved.

But the struggle continues.

Short term, we must not allow health care premiums to double for more than 20 million Americans.

Long term, we must provide health care to all as a human right.

Tonight was a very bad night.
