Yes! algorithmic cruelty is very much a thing within Facebook. Ugh.

Cambria is my default for writing because it's easier on the eyes than all other fonts I've tried.

Oops! That's EAST along the gorge. I'd love an edit button. Sigh.

It's this character's prime stress relief in 1957. 😉

Have to admit, stumbling across this puppy in a museum really freaked me out. Jeep-launched nukes? Yikes.

Seriously compelling for me as I've been plunking away for four years on my own fictional take on the 1950s space program, as informed by my father-in-law's involvement in it.

Awesome! Very West Florida bayou-ish.

Agreed. As we age we're looking at competent medical as a big factor in where to retire.

Full stop at the county-owned hospital transfer to nonprofit. Same here in Titusville FL. Horror stories abound including all family members and many friends misdiagnosed in ER. Couldn't keep GPs they kept resigning. I fear you'll find these issues in many towns across the USA.

Thank you! Same here. Our Hondas are 2012 and 2014 and I'd hate to upgrade either. Both of us were raised with the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality and disdain of consumerism. It sucks so much of our income goes to health insurance (thanks, pre-existing conditions)

Beats $1800. I have no choice. I'm diabetic. Thanks, genetics. My baseline meds are $2000/mo without insurance. Pre-ACA I was refused insurance for "pre-existing conditions." If not for hubby's income I'd be screwed. Healthcare eats 100% of mine now.

A very Yellow River vibe. Feels familiar. Miller Bluff?
