How? Parcels are still delivered, just to community mailboxes!
Ppl in my area were very unhappy about this switch a few years ago, but now love 'cause as BETTER for deliveries than having to go all the way to the post office & wait in line every time you're not home for a pkg delivery

No, ending door to door mail delivery saved millions just by switching to community mailboxes!
And every rural area I've lived had delivery to PO Box only - not to home

Total absolute waste of money we don't have!
Community mailboxes have large sections at bottom for boxes being delivered.
They leave a key for one of these spaces & then you put the key back into the mail slot.
Great to get parcels when you're not home, as they're not left at the door for thieves ✔️
