I'm pleased to announce that I have calendars available now.
Please email me and I'll send you the deets.

Some sort of goanna, yes. What a gorgeous creature!

The wildflowers at Hattah-Kulkyne National Park were stunning - especially the massive carpets of these. Now, I don't know much about plants, but I believe these are a native plant called pig face. There were lots!

People seemed to like that earlier shot I posted of the red-rumped parrot about to have a drink at Lake Hattah. So, here's another - with his beak in the water 🙂

I'm okay. Anniversary of my dad's death, so thinking of him today.

Ever seen a noisy miner's tongue?
Well now you have 😄

Yes, thanks, others identified it as river red gum too.

Probably. I think I would like to spend more time there. Just not on a long weekend or during school holiday time.

I came home on Sunday. Takes me a while to get around to putting photos up.

That's okay. Thanks for checking with me.

Thanks Bill. I did wonder if that's what they were. Are the bigger trees growing out in the middle of the lake also red gums?

Any tree people here?
Can someone tell me what these strappy little trees were on the edge of Lake Hattah, please?

I can't find them. Don't know who they are 😐

Ready for launch! The lovely little black-fronted dotterels were my (almost) constant companions at Lake Hattah.
