The idea that every newspaper became partisan is what makes them practically worthless. If journalists were truly journalists, they'd simply report the news, not slant it. Good luck finding a sponsor for that.

Watching commercials used to be our way of "paying" for TV. Now we pay, still watch more commercials than ever before, and are told we have to upgrade our plan to watch the shows we thought we already paid for.

While I agree with your lament, I see no solution. If we get rid of this bunch of self serving crooks, the next bunch will turn out just like them. The only ones who can fix the system are those benefitting from the corruption. So....

The simple issue that politicians need to grasp is that health care should not be unaffordable. It should be one of those situations where profit shouldn't be the end game. No one should get rich off of someone else's misery or misfortune.

I applaud those who came out and let their voices be heard in a peaceful protest. But I don't think it will change anything. Only voting will do that.
