All good points, but I think there underlies a larger danger - people are more and more alienated from life itself. I think that creates an inner, unidentified anger and also a lack of respect for life. Its only going to get worse as AI spreads.

With so many horrific mass shootings, has anybody done a study as to why we are breeding so many people who will do this? People talk about mental illness, but what kinds and why do so many mentally ill people want to kill lots of people? I think the gun culture itself is driven by mental illness.

Don't pay any attention 1) you have the right to post whatever you want 2) America's politics affects the rest of the world in a big way and 3) Americans weigh in all the time (sometimes with tanks and bombers) on politics in other countries.
