When I hosted a show at LBC many of you wrote to me asking me to watch The Labour Files and to interview Martin Forde KC. In heavily biased legacy media environments doing that was a risk. But as journalists it’s our job to platform perspectives the public should hear without fear or favour.

Last year @sangitamyska.bsky.social asked Martin Forde about the appalling comments made by very senior Lab party managers about Diane Abbott which he found were "expressions of visceral disgust drawing on racist tropes"

Forde noted Labour had never apologised to Diane for those messages

Jimmy Kimmel’s show has been axed by ABC who claim the decision is down to falling ratings instead of his repeated criticism of powerful political forces and prevailing right wing narratives.

Gosh, we’re so lucky that we live in a country where private media companies would never do that..

⚡️The Trump administration has just sanctioned 3 leading Palestinian human rights organizations- Al Haq, Al Mezan, and PCHR. This type of action is normally reserved for terrorists & drug traffickers. The move will severely damage the orgs ability to advocate for and protect Palestinian Human Rights

I was honoured to speak at the vigil for Palestinian journalists killed during Israel’s assault on Gaza, organised by the London Freelance chapel of @NUJofficial. It was a shame a far right activist tried to disrupted the event. It matters not; hundreds of us turned out in solidarity.
