The act of peeling a tangerine/orange is as important as eating the fruit. It is, in my humble opinion, an intensely therapeutic activity 🙂 #peace #therapy #calm

It is not often a book astounds, amazes, moves and challenges me in the sphere of my faith. It took a while to get to this, for which I regret, but now that I have I am almost speechless!Thoroughly recommended!

At Birmingham (UK) Rep Theatre with my youngest daughter to watch one of our most favourite books turned into a play (sold out & btw with the most diverse audience I’ve ever seen): A Thousand Splendid Suns. We came; we sat; we saw; we wept. Wonderful and powerful production. Highly Recommended!

‘How do you wake up and shine?’

I loved watching most of his films but the one that hit home was Crimson Tide. Opposite Denzel wow!

Lions for Lambs on Prime I thought was worth a watch and raised some deep questions. Not perfect with some (very) loose narrative at times. However, if you allow it, it will engage intellectually, emotionally and politically. It just won’t hand you the answers like some fast food joint.

Never a truer, prophetic word said about the banning of books. ‘Cloud Cuckoo Land’ - Anthony Doerr.

Civil War (no, not the Marvel one) is an ode (and in fact a lamenting poem) to journalists and journalism. In the meantime it is, infact, a prophetic warning to Western civilisation!

I have much to say. It’s not perfect (longer than it needs to be and meanders at times) but my goodness me what a novel of human pain, loss, love and redemption.

Usyk. Clearly the better boxer. Clearly the better human being. Fury and camp should be ashamed of themselves.

Is it kinda like okay to say I’m “meh” about the new Superman movie. I’ll watch it eventually but yeah whatever. And if I’m wrong I’m wrong and shame on me as it becomes a blockbuster. But still I’m like “meh”. I’ll wait for the streaming release. Now Conclave. Well that’s a different matter!
