FFS recovery update part idk

last night things got a little harder. my morale was low as I got sick of my liquid diet, sick of sleeping with my head elevated, sick of having no energy. and my pain spiked quite a bit as I started swelling in new places and a stitch in my mouth came undone. I had to take more of the heavy stuff last night to get to sleep.. which made it so I slept through my next Tylenol dose and woke up with some pain this morning.

this afternoon was pretty good though. I made an appearance at the local No Kings rally to be amongst the elderly protestors and the inflatable costume people. I figured it was normie enough that it was low risk and I could check it out.

now I'm a bit wiped, and some pain is coming back. but I'm feeling a lot better than last night

FFS recovery update for anyone following along 💞

FFS recovery update!

every day gets a little easier. Wednesday was hard - really uncomfortable/swollen and a lot of pain. but the past two days are better so far. I was able to start drinking lukewarm coffee which is my life force and has helped my pain (or at least, I fixed the caffeine withdrawals). I've been able to avoid the heavy painkillers since Tuesday am, so I'm just on Tylenol/Advil and thc now. everything just takes a ton of energy - even something like playing video games wears me out quick... but I *did* just have my face peeled off.

mostly my face is just very swollen, and that's uncomfortable.. but I'm not in a ton of pain anymore. when I am it's like a 2 or a 3 instead of a 6 like when I was still in the hospital, or a 10 for what I felt immediately after bottom surgery.

my bandages should mostly come off on Wednesday I think. I should be able to switch to soft foods then too, i'm on an all liquid, lukewarm diet for now.

Urgent Alert: ICE "Freaky Friday" Operation Targeting Children
Community advocates are raising concerns about reports of a new Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) initiative called "Freaky Friday"-a nationwide operation allegedly set to launch today, Friday, October 3. According to these reports, the operation would target unaccompanied minors, with suggestions it could involve children as young as 10 years old.
What Is Alleged
• That "threat letters" may be sent to children previously detained and released, pressuring them to withdraw legal claims under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA).
• That children could be offered $2,500 to self-deport to their countries of origin.
⚫ That parents in the U.S. may face arrest if children do not comply.
• That ICE intends to detain all children who "age out" of ORR custody, anticipating legal challenges.
• That the target age could be lowered from 14 to as young as 10.
