Hell yeah it is. I can't believe these vids on YT only have like 50 views each. Hopefully it's because people are downloading the stuff because man, these are masterfully redone versions of songs that were already top tier.

For sure the weight of Tamron's stuff can really be a huge selling point.
I also picked up a Tamron zoom not too long ago, and a key factor was that it was about half the weight of the equivalent Sony & Sigma offerings 😵
