Russia says the Yale report is 'fake news' and claims they will happily verify any data. They've long denied any wrong doing regarding the movement of Ukrainian children over the border, which is technically a war crime, and say they are helping abandoned children.

Still, others aren't convinced that good intentions are enough. The crux of the dilemma, he explains, is that we are fighting a planetary-scale problem, but are doing it with tools that are still being built and tested. Geoengineering is not inherently good or bad, but it is inherently powerful. And power, especially when exercised in ecosystems as complex and fragile as the ocean, must be handled with caution.

And, while I've been able to chart this online data, I've not had a way to log the times nationalistic, far-right, extreme-right lanauge and ideas has come out of the mouths of some politicians, journalists or given air time on certain TV channels. If anyone has hard data on this, I'd love to talk.

Final thoughts. Whether the Southport misino had been true or not - what plays out either way is collective and mass punishment, racism and xenophobia against all migrants & non-white people - who arent somehow all inherently dangerous bcoz their skin is a diff colour or they weren't born in the UK
