it honestly might've been. i hunted every available ultra beast in addition to xerneas, yveltal, mewtwo, zekrom, and kyurem. it's REALLY good. meanwhile the dynamax adventures tend to be pretty time-consuming (and random if you don't want to burn dynite ore on save-scumming)

ah. oh well, it was probably too much to hope for a shiny marshadow anyhow. but at least SOME legends can be shiny hunted now, so they can have ideas for how to handle things in gen 10. USUM's gonna become REAL valuable if previous gens' legends are still shiny locked like they were in SV

i haven't gotten the PLZA DLC yet. shiny hunting legends is a thing again?? does this extend to the mythicals?

it's not in EVERY case, since the gullbat entry uses "altitude" correctly, but the entries for the cargo launcher and the aeronaut both make this mistake. i'll probably start keeping a sharper eye out whenever i scan something that flies now

super agreed. i love how its power and durability get this big boost when it's actually being used as the blade of evil's bane but in all other cases it's just A Pretty Good Sword. great for keeping it useful without immediately invalidating the rest of the game's weapon system once you've got it
