I also thrift all of my purses (and wash the hell out of them) since I destroy them with pins and keychains anyway.
I’ll buy 2nd hand figures but I prefer to see them in person at cons or something first to see any dirt or damages.

It’s silly to be so sentimental to a vehicle, but when I was 23 with no independence, and I was given the car for my birthday it became my whole world, my baby. I have been to places and done things I never would have done without my own car.
