Try something that isn’t your everyday. It’s just good to get your brain doing other stuff to interrupt the spiral.
I got through a major depression once by helping a friend build props for her burlesque routines.
I did the emotional work too, but in between I made tassels and a giant cake.

I have always found that doing something creative helps doom. Especially if it’s something either tangible or communal. Can you knit or sew? Draw? Learn a skill?
