A woman was killed every two days in November. Between November 1st and 30th, 18 women were murdered or had their violent deaths reported. That’s one woman every two days - twice the reported national average.

The count currently stands at 92 women lost to violence in 2024.

Clicked on a global genocide watch website and got new information that made me feel instantly panicked and stressed.

Make sure you care for yourself when advocating long-term - we wouldn’t be advocating and learning if everything was good in the world. If you care, you rest - we can’t burnout! 🔥✊

The way Australian media has reported on Isla Bell’s murder (and the murder of every woman) is disgusting.

Give the women you report on the same dignity as their killers when they take the stand. Actually no, give victims their dignity and give no humanity to the scum that abuse and kill them.

#GiselePelicot shouldn’t have felt obligated to share her trauma to start a conversation. No survivor should. We need global social change to see perpetrators as the monsters they are. Men need to hold others accountable - it’s the bare minimum.

Women shouldn’t have to demand safety in 2024.

The media is the problem.
They’ll never hold right wing politicians to account, because the majority are owned by right wing billionaires, & said billionaires don’t want to share the wealth.
The bias, propaganda & hypocrisy is off the charts.
The media needs to be held to account for their mess.
