honestly even the hard-looking stuff is doable for beginners, it'll just take longer. all you're really doing is looking at your pattern, finding the thread that matches the number on the pattern, and then making an X on your fabric in the same spot on your gridded fabric.

Cross stitch! Materials are cheap, patterns are pretty easy to find, and it doesnt take much skill. It's the embroidery version of paint-by-numbers. These are a few of my fave pieces Ive done 🙂
