Palestinian Dr Mohammed Abu Mughaiseer from MSF lived and worked in Gaza throughout the last 2 years. Last month he was evacuated for medical reasons, and Israel only allowed him to take his phone & the clothes on his back.

James Elder from UNICEF is asked, what do children in Gaza need most & need now?

As well as talking about nutrition & healthcare, Elder points out that education in Gaza has been under attack & he asks, why has Israel been denying education as part of a humanitarian response?

My secret evil plot to ‘destroy Britain’ has been unveiled by (checks notes) the same paper that endorsed Liz Truss.

If I don’t know better I’d say we’ve got them entirely rattled.

This is a deeply upsetting story. As if the Rohingya people have not suffered enough due to an attempted genocide that killed tens of thousands, sent 700,000 fleeing, and imprisoned 145,000 in camps, the withdrawal of US aid is now starving the survivors and children are dying.

🔴 Gaza’s Government Media Office said Israel has ignored Trump’s ceasefire call, launching 230+ air and artillery strikes from Oct. 4–7 that killed 118 civilians, including women and children.

Most of the strikes hit crowded neighborhoods and displacement camps; 72 were killed in Gaza City alone...

"Indefinite Leave to Remain has become a fast track to British citizenship" i love how bafflingly dense badenoch is. outside of anything else, it's literally the *only* track to citizenship. outside a few routes, 5 years is the default. 3 applications in 5 years (costing £1000s) is not a fast track!

There were two ppl inside the mosque when the attackers tried to get in. They got out in time thankfully and no one was injured

This morning, The Berliner began – against the will of its staff – posting a series of advertisements for the Nova Festival Exhibition. Our concerns having been dismissed and stonewalled, we have had no choice but to strike.
The decision of The Berliner magazine to run an ad campaign for the Nova Festival Exhibition was taken against the explicit objections of its editorial staff and regular freelance contributors. As we expressed in a letter to management, we freelancers consider these ads clear evidence of ownership taking a political stance on Gaza, having for months pressured the magazine to suppress editorial coverage of Palestine. As such, we have no other choice but to protest the campaign by withdrawing our collective labour for the magazine's next issue.
We demand that The Berliner withdraw the ads. If the ads continue, our protest will continue.
