I can simultaneously believe these three things:
1. Charlie Kirk did not deserve to be assassinated.
2. No one deserves gun violence. No one.
3. Charlie Kirk was a terrible person with terrible ideas who actively harmed people and made this country worse every day he was alive.

Ignoring the bonkers suggestion that throwing your grandma with dementia and newborn nephew into the fields can bridge the gap to fully automated (ha!) farming, just in the last century, how many times did radically changing farm labor work out well? Pol Pot? Lysenko? Who wants a famine, kids?
Brooke Rollins on farm laborers: "There will be no amnesty. The mass deportations continue, but in a strategic way. And we move the workforce toward automation and 100% American participation, which with 34 million able-bodied on Medicaid we should be able to do fairly quickly."
